The Portland Cement Zambia mafias, or more commonly known as the Ventriglia family, have been founding bunking court sessions where the fate of cement factory is yet to be decided. The conflict with respect to the ownership of PCZ has remained unresolved from the past decade as the Ventriglia family have been claiming that they have 100% ownership of the plant.

When it comes to determining the facts, PACRA recognizes Finsbury Investments as the real owner of the factory with a registered stake of 58%, the remaining 42% stake is said to be with Ital Terrazzo Limited (ITL), which is owned by the Ventriglia family. Given the current dispute, it has become almost impossible for the Zambian Law to permit any additional development under PCZ. Given this setback, the court had asked both the parties to be present for hearing and hence, the actual owner of Portland Cement Zambia would be determined.

But recently, it has been observed that Antonio Ventriglia has been bunking hearing sessions on a regular basis. This is mainly because the conspirator doesn’t have sufficient ground to prove his claim and is desperately looking for clues to play a blame game on Dr. Rajan Mahtani and Finsbury Investments. As per verified sources, it was learnt that the Court had asked Mr. and Mrs. Ventriglia to be present for hearing in between September 27 to 31, 2015. Unfortunately, this time around they were seen leaving the country on 21st September, 2016.

Given the current scenario, doesn’t it resemble that the ultimate loss is being borne by Zambia? The workers of the factory are being constantly harassed and the fate of the factory still remains undecided. The Ventriglias have made it a habit of mocking the Zambian Law and then hide behind few corrupt officials to escape from the consequences.
