The minority shareholders of the Portland Cement Zambia have been misleading people with all sorts of stories that have been scripted by Zambia Reports. Their latest publication on 30th November 2016, states that the cement plant in Zambia has just won an award for being the best employer. However, when it comes to handling the factory in the right way, everything has gone in the other direction.
It has been observed that the Ventriglia family have been trying to avoid all possible chances of proving their 100% at the Portland Cement Zambia. The first glimpse of such avoidance was seen when Antonio Ventriglia had failed to present himself at the High Court on three different occasion. The reason for each absence was directly associated with ‘poor health condition’. In the latest development, the Ventriglia family was required to be present in the court from 27th September 2016 to 30th September 2017. And as expected, it was seen that they had fled to Italy on 21st September 2016.
The incidents give a clear indication to everyone that the Italian Mafias are only interested in extracting the profits of Portland Cement Zambia. Since they had been occupying the factory for almost a year and half now, they had become answerable and hence, this gimmick of award was played by them. Over the years, we have kept a track of the actual developments and are very well-aware of the actual condition of Portland Cement Zambia. The workers have been removed and the factory premise and assets have been leased out to other entities. And in the midst of such chaos, we are expected to believe Zambia Reports. Nevertheless, Portland Cement Zambia was always an exceptional unit when it came to performance. All the accomplishments that it has achieved during its lifetime should be credited to its workers.
