The Illegal Rule Of Ventriglias Over Zambezi Portland Might End Soon

Zambezi Portland Cement was once upon a time a premier cement manufacturing and distributing company of Zambia. The company was known for its surplus production and wages which were above the industry standards. Then came the Ventriglias, who took over the factory illegally, claiming their ownership over it. Since that time, the fight for the real ownership of Zambezi Portland has been going on at the Lusaka High Court. This fight is between Dr. Rajan Mahtani and the Ventriglias.

For the past ten years, the Ventriglias have kept their illegal capture over the factory. During this time, Dr. Mahtani and his team submitted various evidence and documents supporting their claim. However, the judgment has been delayed because of various unavoidable and sometimes avoidable circumstances. Sometimes the judge was transferred or was unavailable due to various reasons. Every time a new judge was appointed, the process had to start from scratch stretching the final decision-making process further away. During many occasions, the Ventriglias were intentionally absent from court proceedings. These occasions were specific as they were asked to provide evidence to support their claim and they were conveniently absent from the court scene. During these nine years, the condition of the factory has turned from bad to worse. The production of the factory started to decline right after its illegal takeover. The factory’s current condition clearly states that the Ventriglias have no interest in developing or looking after the factory. The Zambezi Portland Cement saw its golden period during the leadership by Dr. Rajan Mahtani and looking at the current situation of the factory, it is unclear if Dr. Mahtani will be able to revive it and bring it to its former glory, even if he wins this case.

However, Dr. Mahtani is an extremely positive individual and is hoping to get the legal rights of the factory so that he can improve its condition and try to revive it to its former glory.
