Zambia is a developing nation and has seen many industries and businesses flourish over the years. These growth and development has been as a result of the continuous honest work of good businessmen across the nation. Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani is among these honest businessmen. He has been staying in Zambia for many decades and every new business opportunity is carried out keeping in mind the community and environment. As a result of his popularity and respect among industrialists as well as commoners, there are many people who started to get jealous. As a result, many conspirators were born who till date, keep conspiring against Dr. Mahtani. While most of these conspiracies have been a failure, some of them were able to keep the common people engaged and blinded for some time.

The recent win by Finance Bank over Simaata is a wake-up call for all those conspirators who think that they can win over sincere businesses by publishing fake news or creating negative stories or rumours. Simaata Simaata was sued by Finance Bank with support from Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani, ex-Chairman of the bank. He was sued for breaking the clauses in the agreement signed with Finance Bank. The agreement also provided Simaata with monetary incentives. Not respecting the contract, he went ahead and broke them at various occasions. First violation was when he testified on his free will against FBZ & Dr. Mahtani at various courts. The second violation was when he published documents deemed sensitive as per the agreement. All these activities prompted Finance Bank to take the case to Supreme Court of Zambia, seeking justice.

After checking all the facts and evidences and after listening to the arguments from both sides, the judges came into the conclusion that agreement was in fact breached by Simaata. He was found guilty of the charges and will be paying fine for the same. He will also be monitored into the future and any similar step will attract more severe punishment from SC.
