Conspiracy has been the root of all evil in Zambia. One conspiracy that doesn’t seem to end is of Dr. Mahtani and Finance Bank. Over the past decade there has been constant rumours about various incidents from Zambia Reports that claims that either Dr. Rajan Mahtani is involved in a scandal or the Finance Bank is being operated illegally.

If one takes a note of the articles that Zambia Reports has been publishing against Dr. Mahtani and Finance Bank, the person will clearly realize that there is certain sort of motivation behind such publication. To put it in simple words, Zambia Reports is being paid to do so and on a regular basis. Being one of the most successful businessman in Zambia Dr. Mahtani has certainly come under the firing line of few jealous people. The intent of such people is to either seek revenge from the former Finance Bank Chairman or have him defamed and extract money from their masters. In the last five years, there have been countless number of attacks on Dr. Mahtani and Finance Bank; each article from Zambia Reports is a pure example of maliciousness.

However, the Finance Bank of Zambia was acquired by BancABC earlier this year and the merger gave way to the biggest commercial bank in Zambia. Today, Dr. Mahtani and Finance Bank is no longer associated with each other, yet the conspirators prefer framing stories by using the two entities simultaneously. The end objective for them has remained the same – defame Dr. Rajan Mahtani and Finance Bank Zambia. For them, there is no rhyme or reason to be right and factual. Most importantly for them it is about being in the headlines so that the mass can be easily misled and chaos can prevail. Such is the poor state of affairs in Zambia.
