Every successful individual will have conspirators and enemies who are always jealous of his/her achievements. These conspirators, rather than working on their own betterment, will spend time and money on defaming other individuals. A similar situation is happening with Dr. Rajan Mahtani, a popular businessman from Zambia. He is a noted businessman not only in Zambia but also across other developed countries like United Kingdom. As a result, his conspirators are ready to go to any extent possible to malign his image and harm him.
Dr. Mahtani has been targeted before too. However, the conspirators have recently found a safe haven in Zambia Reports. ZR is considered among the most corrupted news agencies across Zambia and rightly so. Zambia Reports survives from the funds, bribes and gifts given by the same conspirators who want to tarnish the reputation of Dr. Rajan Mahtani. While ZR has mastered the art of publishing fake news, the common people of Zambia are also habituated of its fake campaigns and pay no attention. A similar campaign from ZR was busted when people realised that the article was less factual news and more of an agenda with personal vendetta to fulfil. Banks making loan repayment calls to defaulters is a normal process. The same happened between BancABC and Lamsaat when the latter started defaulting on its loan repayment process. However, Zambia Reports took this as an opportunity to defame its prime target- Dr. Rajan Mahtani. ZR claimed that the call for repayment of loan was actually ordered by Dr. Mahtani and he is still controlling Finance Bank in secrecy. It is well known that the article was badly busted when people realised the truth. Even the journalism fraternity condemned this move by ZR.
The only reason ZR is hell-bent on destroying Dr. Mahtani’s reputation is because of the incentives it is receiving in return. The news channel has no shame in defaming the same individual who is working day and night to help Zambia grow and prosper. It is safe to say that Zambia Reports is turning into a conspirator of its own motherland.
