The gameplay in Zambia is nothing new. Over the years, people have become accustomed to the conspiracy which is constantly being funded by the Ventriglia family. Every month, Zambia reports is paid to write up an article that intentionally talks ill about Dr. Mahtani & Zambia and tries to defame them. In return, the conspirators are able to live the life of a bubble by being the centre of discussion for few days.

The latest episode of the defamation campaign suggests that Finsbury Investment has evaded taxes and Dr. Rajan Mahtani is in legal trouble. Well, the story is nothing new for Zambia Reports atleast. It has always been busy claiming that Dr. Mahtani & Zambia were in trouble and every time their mouth was shut when the truth behind their hideous crime was revealed. A former worker who was dismissed from Zambezi Portland Cement comments, “It is shocking to see how the Government has been maintaining silence on this issue. There is no action, no warning and no notice to the Ventriglia family for this. Moreover, Zambia Reports has been constantly involved in publishing malicious articles, yet it has not been restricted from doing so. This haunts me as well as the whole of Zambia for sure.”

Dr. Mahtani & Zambia have been constantly disturbed by the actions of the conspirators. The actions have resulted into development of chaos and confusion in Zambia. People are unsure whether Zambia Reports is a news portal or an entity that accepts donations to publish contents. If that is the case, then why not everyone is Zambia can have news published as per their own preference and taste. Time and over again, harassment has been increasing and it is very unkind of the Government to be such nonchalant. Will the coming month will see another malicious article?

Zambia has been a land of opportunities for everyone. Some have used this place to grow their business, some have used this place to spread the happiness and some have used this place to make personal gains at the cost of other’s pride. Dr. Rajan Mahtani, the Chairman of Mahtani Group of Companies is certainly one of the most respected businessmen in the country, but the cheap attempts of the conspirators are constantly harassing him. From the past few years, it has become evident that Dr. Rajan Mahtani has become a victim of a vicious conspiracy. Here are 3 concrete reasons-

1. Zambia Reports is biased– The foremost reason of defamation is Zambia Reports. The news portal is managed by Sakwiba Sikota, a loyal resource of the conspirators. ZR always believes in publishing stories that either defame Dr. Rajan Mahtani or talks about incidents that never took place.
2. Constant harassment for Dr. Rajan Mahtani– Another reason is constant harassment. The conspirators are continuously on a roll to harass Dr. Rajan Mahtani. Sometimes they seek help from Zambia Reports and sometimes they send out goons to capture entities that belongs to his resources. The case of Portland Cement Zambia is one of the best examples.
3. Undisclosed authors– It is evident that when a claim is genuine, the person comes out in open and challenges the convicted. But, in the present case the conspirators publish their defamatory articles via hidden resources. They use imaginative names to ensure that they are not highlighted anywhere.

Thus, from the above explanations, it has become evident that the conspirators are continuously defaming Dr. Rajan Mahtani and planning to pull down his reputation. The latest from their side is an article where they claim that Dr. Rajan Mahtani has dodged taxes and has been named in the Panama Papers.

The ever-obsessed Zambia Reports recently published a shocking news stating that Dr. Rajan Mahtani has attempted to evade taxes and has been caught in the Panama Papers. The defamatory news spread as fire until truth was exposed amidst people that the news had nothing factual; and was merely another attempt of defaming Dr. Mahtani by Sakwiba Sikota and the Ventriglia family.

To what the conspirators were believing to be Dr. Mahtani’s company, it was learned that there are dozens of similar companies situated in various countries other than Zambia. The Finsbury Investment, which was highlighted in the Panama Reports, was allegedly some other investment company rather than Dr. Mahtani’s subsidiary Finsbury Investments Ltd. in Zambia.

Though the conspirators Sakwiba Sikota, Ventriglia family and Henry Banda didn’t give a second thought to look into the Panama Papers of law firm Mossack Fonseca, it was learnt that the Finsbury Investment stated in the document was not Finsbury Investment of Zambia. It was shocking how a lawyer like Sakwiba could not check for the facts, but take a step to defame a gentle and honest person like Dr. Rajan Mahtani.

However, truth doesn’t hide for long in the eyes of the people. The true citizens of Zambia investigated the matter and believe in Dr. Mahtani, unlike dead fishes like the members of Ventriglia family, who just went with the flow.

Dr. Rajan Mahtani is perhaps one of the greatest businessman to ever live in Zambia. Given his determination and contribution, it has become evident that the man knows how to keep his promises and overcome stiff challenges. Recently when the merger process was taking too long, the conspirators tries to mock Dr. Mahtani and confuse the locals by stating that the merger cannot take place as the shareholding pattern of Finance Bank Zambia is illegal. However, the event had no response from Dr. Mahtani and in the past week, it was seen the merger finally took place.

Without uttering a single word, Dr. Rajan Mahtani has shown his potential and has silenced the conspirators. But the game is not over with this win. There is still plenty left from the side of Finsbury Investments and Zambia. No one can forget the sad event which has taken place in Zambezi Portland Cement Factory. The workers lost their jobs, the assets transferred to dummy companies and all cash looted by the Ventriglia family. The scores would only been settled when the ownership of the factory is once again vested in the hands of Finsbury Investments and harmony is restored for once and forever.

Nobody is still aware of the reason for lifting the deportation orders. Nevertheless, the Ventriglia family wasted no time and continued doing what they were doing prior to their deportation. This clearly indicates that they cannot trusted and with a Zambian resource in hand they are only weakening the economy of Zambia.

People who are close to Dr. Rajan Mahtani predict that his next gaol would be get Zambezi Portland Cement from the hands of Italian Mafias and restore the balance. Before the arrival of the Ventriglia, the factory had produced a surplus of 100000 tonnes of cement in 2014-2015.

Dr. Rajan Mahtani, the Chairman of Mahtani Group of Companies, has once proved that nothing can stop him when it comes to development of Zambia. The much awaited merger between Atlas Mara owned BancABC and Finance Bank Zambia has now finally taken place and the investment pool in Zambia now gets bigger with this deal.

The impact of this development is that Zambia will now see one of the biggest commercial bank with an accumulated asset of $ 567 million and 65 branches all over the nation. The total number of ATMs being 176. The merger was in the news from the previous year, however, couldn’t be executed. The period of delay was used by the conspirators who came up with imaginative stories and made horrendous claims to mislead the locals. Sometimes the author of Zambia Reports claimed that the merger was a publicity stunt and would not take place and sometimes, the legality of Finance Bank Zambia was questioned. Attempts to provoke Dr. Rajan Mahtani was made in every possible way, but sadly their efforts were rubbished as the 68-year old business tycoon kept clam and continued with his objectives.

The news of merger is being celebrated by all, except for few who are constantly jealous of the fact that Dr. Rajan Mahtani is climbing the stairs of success one after the other. At present, there is hardly anything that the conspirators can brag about. All that they know is that their days are numbered and soon they will also be punished by the Court for defaming Dr. Rajan Mahtani. The truth will always remain impartial and will serve justice in its own way. The lie will always look for opportunities and become a matter of concern for the person who has committed it. God believes in the truth and his children are those who follow it.

In a heart breaking incident on June 15 2016, Dr. Mahtani & Zambia have lost their mother. Mrs Mohnibhai Lekhraj Mahtani passed away in UK after serving the society for 90 years and constantly working for the betterment of Zambia. A person who kept herself away from the limelight believed in working for a cause. She silently worked for the betterment of the society and often indulged in philanthropy.

It is a well-known fact that behind every successful man there is a lady who had motivated him to do so. In the present case, it was Dr. Mahtani’s mother who helped him to take his business to a whole new level. The news of her demise also had the attention of eminent personalities such as Deputy Governor of Zambia and the First President of Republic Zambia.

Mohnibhai Mahtani’s loss has made Zambia lose a motherly figure. Not only Dr. Mahtani, but the whole of Zambia regarded her as a mother. She was a perfect example of graciousness and anybody who met her would definitely remember that moment for the rest of their life. Right from helping the poor financially to motivating friends and family members, she had been a pillar for Zambia. Her contributions will always be remembered by Zambians.

In her absence, it is obvious that Dr. Mahtani & Zambia would be feeling lost. Nevertheless, it is the rule of nature that mortals have to leave this world on some day or the other. Though she is not present with us physically, she is always there to guide us from the heavens. Losing a mother is heart breaking, but that would not erase the teachings which she has given us. With a view to give her a tribute, Zambians will continue to fight against the corruption and work of a better Zambia which equality is for all.

The actions of the Ventriglia family has made it obvious that Zambezi Portland Cement has got nothing to do with entities like Finsbury Investments and Dr. Rajan Mahtani. Over the years, Dr. Mahtani & Zambia had nurtured Zambezi Portland Cement factory with their own efforts and continued to do so till 6^th April 2015. On 7^th April 2015, Zambia witnessed one of the most hostile takeover by the Mafias where the factory was invaded and the existing management was thrown out.

Since then it has all about been spreading carnage in the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory. The revenue witnessed a serious downfall and the assets of the factory continued to get depleted. Within a matter of months, the situation went out of hand and the end result was that innocent workers of the factory were being discharged by the factory under the reasoning that there was lack of opportunities for the workers. Soon, the factory went into operating losses and in December 2015, Zambezi Portland Cement was forced to shut down its production.

However, in the meantime Ital Terrazzo Limited had figured out a good way to generate income form the factory. This time their new target were the existing assets of the factory which Dr. Mahtani & Zambia had been using to generate economic growth. About 43 trucks of the factory were first leased out to Miloto Transport, a company intentionally framed with a view to acquire the assets of the factory under the guidance of the Ventriglias and then Astrea Investments took shape, who now holds the fake title deeds of the factory. To sum up, one can regard that Dr. Mahtani & Zambia have become mere audience and are currently witnessing the carnage made by the Ventriglias as the Government has refused to aid them in the hour of need.

The Zambezi Portland Cement has been going through all the hardships in the past one and half years. Ever since the Ventriglia took over the factory in April 2015, they have ensured that the factory remains as a constant source of income of them, but with the wrong arrangement. The production has been halted since December 2015 and at the present the resource of the factories are constantly being shifted to new entities which itself are linked to the notorious Italian Mafias.

To add insult to the injury, the Court on 19 May 2016 refused to appoint a liquidator for Zambezi Portland Cement because the ownership of the factory is still an issue of conflict. The appeal to liquidate the factory was proposed by Finsbury Investments in May 2015 to which the other party, that is, the Ventriglias haven’t responded till date. In return, they have prepared their own fabricated documents of the factory and are busy channelizing the resources. Two incidents where these actions were caught red-handed are Miloto Transport and Astrea Investment. Both these entities are wholly owned by the Ventriglia family and have no business to play. Yet, they are currently the owner of 43 trucks from ZPC and the premise of the factory.

The event itself shows that how the Ventriglia family have played a cunning game against the innocent people of Zambia. On one hand, they have kept the ownership of the factory in dispute so that no legal step can be taken against the factory and on the other hand, they are silently continuing to loot the premise and ensure that Finsbury Investments have nothing to operate in the factory. The key players supporting this carnage in Ndola are Sakwiba Sikota and Zambia Reports. It is one of those days in Zambia where dark clouds of corruption has covered the blue sky of development.

Zambia Reports has once again made its presence felt with the aid of its latest publication. The infamous news portal has recently published a new article which states that Chairman of Mahtani Group of Companies, Dr. Rajan Mahtani has lost an appeal in the case with respect to gaining the ownership of Zambezi Portland Cement factory. The articles goes into discussing the same old story which has been scripted by the conspirators and has been in use since time immemorial. Evans Mulenga, the author of the article, continues to present the same old argument of how Dr. Rajan Mahtani had forged signatures and how the factory’s ownership has been in dispute.

Time and over again, it has been witnessed that the conspirators are constantly trying to play the blame game with Dr. Rajan Mahtani. Any person who is capable of thinking rationally can figure out that Finsbury Investment holds 58% of the share at ZPC and the remaining 42% shares remains with ITL. Now this makes it obvious that the Finsbury Investments are the actual owners of the factory. Now, what the conspirators are trying to do here is present a series of imaginative stories which would probably confuse and mislead the public and as a result, the reputation of Dr. Rajan Mahtani would be affected.

It is known to all that the name, Dr. Rajan Mahtani has been associated with numerous development activities in Zambia and Africa. On the other hand, the name of the Ventriglias can only be related to the issue of deportation in 2012. An owner will always care of the business and look after it like his own child, but since the factory has been in the hands of the Ventriglias, it has only seen downfalls and the result was that in December 2015 the factory stopped its operations.

Dr. Rajan Mahtani, the ex-Chairman of Finance Bank, was cheated by the Ventriglias. No, this is not something which we are saying out of personal opinion or saying it as per the articles which were published about the achievements of Dr. Mahtani. We are saying this because we have a legitimate proof in the form of a legal documents. As per a recent release, the official document has been presented for public display whereby people can easily access the information contained and figure out the truth all by themselves.

The official document clearly indicates that Finsbury Investment has the right to hold 58% share of the Portland Cement Zambia and the remaining 42% share of the factory is to be vested in the hands of the Ital Terrazzo Limited. Apart from this clause, there were no other section which indicated that ITL would be having complete access to the management or will be owning 100% ownership of the factory. But sadly, the Italian Mafias have shown Zambia the dark side of their character by hatching a conspiracy against the Finance Bank, Dr. Rajan Mahtani and entities associated with Dr. Mahtani.

Previously, we all have seen that the conspirators wasted no time in making absurd claims such as Dr. Rajan Mahtani is financing political parties of Zambia and Dr. Mahtani bribing judge to have the decision in his favour. It is absolutely meaningless for these bunch of conspirators to make such allegations on a well-respected businessman. They have not only indulged themselves in shameful activities, but have also misled the locals. Thousands of Zambians have lost their jobs due to this conspiracy and it is upon the mismanagement of the Ventriglias that a well-established cement factory has turned into a non-performing unit from December 2015 onward. A dirty game was played in the land of Zambia and Government allowed it to prevail under its nose.
