The Bio Ethanol plant gets acknowledgment from President Lungu

The President of Zambia, Edgar Lungu, has appreciated the development of the bio ethanol plant which will be soon setup by Mahtani Group of Companies and Sunbird Group. President Lungu suggested that development of this plant would reduce the dependency of Zambia on oil import. The plant will be setup in Luapula district and is also expected to create employment opportunities for about 7, 000 people.

The total investment in this project is about $ 190 million, the first instance when Zambia has attracted such a big investment. The expected output of the plant would be close to 120 million litres of ethanol on a yearly basis. A total of 20, 000 hectare of land has been allotted to the bio ethanol plant for the purpose of offering complete support to the upcoming project.

Collins, a resident of Luapula Province, commented, “Dr. Rajan Mahtani is the key to this project. It was only because of his support that we were able to have investments from UK. It is good to see that the President of Zambia, Edgar Lungu, has also come out in support of this campaign. If all can stand united, we can easily have some more development projects coming soon.”

Dr. Rajan Mahtani is the current Chairman of Mahtani Group of Companies and his involvement in this deal was crucial. Sunbird Group, the UK Giant decided to invest because it had the confidence of Mahtani Group of Companies. Zambia Reports has come up with a heroic effort to console its financier. After the loss at the Lusaka High Court, the infamous news portal now intends to look after the affairs of Dr. Mahtani & Zambia by expressing concern over Raddison Blu.

A personnel of the Finance Bank states, “The Ventriglia has constantly tried to overcome Dr. Mahtani & Zambia through the hideous act of conspiracy. However, they have never succeeded because they have hate in their heart and destruction in their mind. However, one factor that has remained the same throughout is the judicial system of Zambia. On November 19, 2015, the Lusaka High Court confirmed that no charges can be put on Dr. Rajan Mahtani because the given case was already closed in 2012.

In a range of events which has been haunting Zambia and Ndola from the past decade, it has become evident that the only thing that matters for the conspirators is the thirst for power and money. They have nonchalantly tried to follow what they believe and hence, in the way they ended up bribing the officials to reopen a permanently closed case.

Dr. Rajan Mahtani’s arrest was a planned conspiracy

The Lusaka High Court on November 19, 2015 passed a judgement where it was specifically mentioned that the case of forgery against Dr. Rajan Mahtani was already closed in 2012 and reopening the case was extremely unfortunate. The key involvement of acting DPP and Attorney General had earlier resulted in the arrest of Dr. Rajan Mahtani in June 2015.

As per the findings, the High Court concluded that it was shocking to see how a permanently closed case has been reopened and the same charges have been applied to the Former Chairman Finance Bank, Zambia. The Hon’ble Judge, Mwiinde Siavwapa also explained that if there were certain amendments in law, then the same cannot be applied with retrospective effect. The judge who had passed the decision earlier had taken into consideration all the presented evidence and sources. If he found that Dr. Rajan Mahtani was not guilty of share forgery, then the same decision should have been followed throughout.

The power of money has allowed corruption to creep in Zambia. The minority shareholders of Portland Cement Zambia, the Ventriglia family have managed to bribe number people, which include political figures as well as Government officials. BancABC’s takeover on Finance Bank Zambia will benefit Zambia

The news of BancABC’s plan to takeover the Finance Bank Zambia has spread like a wild fire. People in Africa and around the world are well informed about this takeover and it is expected that this transaction will aid Zambia’s development.

The current value of FBZ’s asset is somewhere close to US $ 261 million. The same valuation will now add up to the existing asset valuation of BancABC and will reflect a consolidated figure of US $ 418 million. The development will make BancABC as the largest bank in Zambia. The news of the takeover was first given by Atlas Mara, who is a stakeholder in BancABC. Shortly after the news had circulated, Dr. Rajan Mahtani too confirmed about the same.

An employee of FBZ comments, “It is a pleasure for us to be a part of the sixth largest bank of Zambia. Moreover, with this takeover, we will now be working for Zambia’s largest bank. Dr. Rajan Mahtani had offered us a job previously, now he has offered us a better opportunity. We are thankful to him.”

The conspirators did try to interrupt this auspicious occasion, but the same was dismissed by the authorities and BancABC. One of the most talked about topics in recent days is BancABC’s plan to takeover the Finance Bank of Zambia. The same news was confirmed by Atlas Mara, a majority shareholder of BancABC. This is probably the biggest takeover of a commercial bank that Zambia has ever seen. The combined assets after the takeover is likely to be somewhere close to USD $ 418 million.

As per the prevailing condition, Dr. Rajan Mahtani, former Chairman of FBZ, has too confirmed this news and is extremely pleased with the proceedings. The deal will include cash as well as shares of BancABC. According to confirmed reports, the Finance Bank of Zambia would be getting USD $ 60 million in cash and another USD $ 2.6 million in shares. To sum up, the total value of the deal is close to USD $ 62.6 million.

Lies, Lies and Lies by Zambia Reports to defame Dr. Rajan Mahtani

Zambia Reports, a so called news portal, has a peculiar habit of concealing the truth and spreading the lies. Over a specific time period, it has fulfilled the objective of its financier, the Ventriglia family. Dr. Rajan Mahtani has been the victim here as a weekly defamation campaign has assassinated his character and reputation in public.

In a recent article, Zambia Reports has proudly claimed that Dr. Rajan Mahtani is possessing the intent of taking over the Nitrogen Chemicals of Zambia Ltd. The whole article talks about how a loan has to been forwarded to NCZ by the Finance Bank of Zambia and an arrangement has been made with a view to have the management of the borrower. However, the whole story doesn’t exist in reality.

The argument and claims made in the article written by the authors is purely imaginative. In reality, neither the Finance Bank, nor Dr. Rajan Mahtani himself has offered any loan facility to NZC. Zambia Reports has simply used its imagination to create a fictitious article and mislead the African citizens.

Mr. Nchito, a Zambian citizen, states, “Zambia Reports has been cursed by its own greed. It is absolutely ridiculous of them to do something as low as this. They put the journalism of Zambia to shame with their defamation campaign. Moreover, Sakwiba Sikota has lost all his morals and is looking forward to accumulate as much wealth as possible from the Ventriglias.”

To sum up, one can easily say that Zambia Reports has now become a portal which is full of lies and fabricated stories. It’s only intent is to ridicule people and fill their pockets with money that is offered by the conspirators. Where were they when their financiers had tried to tamper records with PACRA? Where was Zambia Reports when the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory’s cash box was looted?

Dr. Rajan Mahtani is fighting for Zambians, but is the Government?

Dr. Rajan Mahtani, the former Chairman of Finance Bank Zambia, has taken one of the biggest initiative in the history of Zambia. He has taken the fight for the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory to the High Court with a view to preserve the interest of his Zambian brothers. An oppression which has continued ever since April 2015, will now soon come to an end as the date of hearing is approaching closer.

The Italian Mafias, also known as The Ventriglia family, has used a channel of corruption to fulfil its needs. In their quest of taking over the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory, they have successfully managed to bribe news portals as well as political figures. However, one thing that these Italian Mafias have forgot is that Zambia is not a land of corruption and when the Government fails to preserve the interest of the citizens, there are citizens like Dr. Rajan Mahtani, who will stand as a barrier between foreign Mafias and the dignity of Zambian citizens.

It has almost been six months now and the Government of Zambia has done nothing to aid the workers who now face oppression in the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory. To come up with something interesting and out of the box, this time the writers have used their imagination to create a story which talks about how Dr. Mahtani plans to grab the Nitrogen Chemicals of Zambia Ltd (NCZ).

The storyline was quickly framed that NCZ has availed a loan from the Finance Bank and the conspirators wasted no time in claiming that the next step would be the foreclosure of the bank. However, the authors have once again to fail do their homework, or it can be regarded that they are not well versed with the banking rules in Zambia. The truth is that no loan has been forwarded to NCZ. It is rumours that are being transformed into a storyline.

Zambia Reports has once again tried to create a story against Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani, Zambia, which is full of lies and based on imagination. In this way, they have only themselves to blame as they are constantly trying to mislead the public and unsettle the prevailing harmony in Zambia. Dr. Rajan Mahtani is a reputed businessman is Zambia and most importantly, a pioneer of development. He has offered various loan facilities to numerous units, but the name of Nitrogen Chemicals of Zambia Ltd., is nowhere in the list. Sadly, the conspirators have once again poked their nose in this regard. If the conspirators feel that they have a valid point, then they should come out in open and say the same. Hiding behind the curtains of Zambia Reports signifies their cowardness.
