The Forbes business connect in Africa is well-known for its annual partnership with Foreign Investment Limited (FIN) philanthropy and leadership business awards. These leadership business awards are known a Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ awards and are among the most recognised and anticipated business and corporate awards across Africa. The awards are presented by Forbes and FIN, recognising and celebrating leading lights in the field of philanthropy and leadership and their contributions towards empowerment of the African nation. Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani, a noted businessman, charity worker and philanthropist in Zambia, was also invited in this leadership and philanthropy event as a honorary speaker. The event was held online as a result of the ongoing covid-19 pandemic and all members participated in this event from their respective locations.
